Join our Business Systems department in Nørresundby
You will become part of the Master Data team in the Business
Systems department under Group Digital, based at our offices in Nørresundby.
Your immediate team consists of your Team Lead and four dedicated colleagues.
We collaborate closely with a larger IT organization, including colleagues in
Manila, who handle daily operations. Together, we focus on the strategic
development of Wrist’s master data capabilities in close alignment with Business
Systems and the wider business.
Help shape the future master data landscape
As the team’s Master Data Analyst, you will
take ownership of analyzing business needs and translating them into robust
master data solutions. You act as a key link between stakeholders and Group
Digital, ensuring that requirements are well understood, data structures are
fit for purpose, and insights are clearly communicated. With a strong
analytical mindset and solid communication skills, you help drive collaboration
and contribute to the long-term development of Wrist’s master data strategy.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will be to:
- Facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders to define data requirements and priorities.
- Act as the primary link between business users and developers, translating business needs into clear specifications for the Master Data Developer.
- Assist in reviewing master data documentation and design documents.
- Design, facilitate and conduct testing inside and related to the master data management systems.
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that drive business decisions.
- Ensure data quality and governance principles are upheld in all master data projects.
- Support business super-users and key stakeholders in understanding and utilizing data and the master data management systems effectively.
- Build and maintain documentation, including processes/SoPs, data governance and data policies.
- Act as 2nd level support for Master Data Operations team.
Profil
Qualifications & Requirements
Preferably, you hold a
relevant educational background within data, IT, business analytics, or a
similar field at a minimum bachelor’s level, combined with several years of
hands-on experience in a comparable role. In addition, we expect you to bring
the following qualifications:
- Advanced Office suite skills especially with Excel, enabling you to analyse, structure, and present data effectively
- Experience working on IT projects and collaborating closely with IT teams
- Proven ability to analyse and interpret large datasets and turn them into meaningful insights
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, allowing you to translate data into clear business actions
- Experience working within data governance frameworks and with a focus on data quality and consistency
- Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A structured, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- It is a plus if you have strong understanding of databases, with the ability to work confidently with complex data structures
- Understanding of maritime, company and product data is an advantage
- Knowledge of STEP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Fabric will be a benefit
