We are looking for a Global Category Coordinator supporting our Global Category Managers on all Stores items (Non-Food items) to a vacant position in our Global Procurement team.
As Global Category Coordinator, you will provide daily support to our Global Category Managers and coordinate various category management related tasks, such as tender- and negotiation preparation in direct corporation with the Global Category Managers. Furthermore, you will function as a key person in communication to global vendors to ensure that vital product information is available to keep our global product assortment up to date and to support our e-commerce platform.
With reference to one of our Global Category Managers, you will become part of a strong team based in Nørresundby.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Global Category Managers (GCMs) in the development of category strategies by gathering data and providing spent analysis
- Support the GCM in all aspects of negotiation preparation and tendering and onboard suppliers in E-Auction tools
- Finalize trade agreements and execute contract management
- Support the optimization of inventories and manage volume forecasts to suppliers
- Coordinate day-to-day activities in close collaboration with GCMs and other key stakeholders
- Create datasheet as well as author extended item description for key assortment and Privat label initiatives
- Align activity planning and report calculated savings
- Maintaining sharepoint compliance site
- Ongoing development of commodity market intelligence material
Profile
What you

You bring in a proven track record
and experience from a similar Procurement role working with tasks related to
the above key responsibilities.
Additionally, we expect that you:
- Are self-driven, proactive and your work is characterized by structure and you are very process driven
- Work well independently, but at the same time your way of working is based on the mindset that success comes through strong cooperation and good relations across functions and cultures
- Are motivated by a dynamic work environment and exhibit flexibility and structure when things are moving fast and matters are urgent
- Have extensive skills in data analytics and high-level user in excel and PowerPoint.
Furthermore, you are fluent in English both written and spoken
