Mission
Do you want to be part of a digital scale-up in the $40+ billion maritime market? Then this is your chance — we are looking for our new Master Data Specialist. As our new Master Data Specialist, you will join our Content Team, which collects product data from suppliers and transforms it into online catalogs for the Source2Sea marketplace. We continuously develop tools to enhance data quality and optimize the process—from receiving product data from suppliers to displaying it in the online catalog. We work closely with other workstreams in an inspiring digital venture.
Hybrid work with base in NørresundbyIn this position, your primary office will be located in Nørresundby, but we operate with a hybrid working model and prioritize a healthy work-life balance.
Key responsibilities
Your key responsibility will be to create and maintain online catalog data. This involves analyzing data from suppliers, typically in Excel and CSV formats. Additionally, you will work with mapping tools like Knime to process the data, preparing it for catalog ingestion. You will also serve as the implementation manager and become the primary contact for selected suppliers, responsible for onboarding new suppliers and ensuring alignment on correct data and data exchange methods. Data is stored in our Struct PIM, which you will help develop and work with.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will be:
- Onboard suppliers to the catalog requirements
- Validate and store supplier data
- Map supplier data into the Source2Sea catalog format
- Perform quality assurance on data
As a person, you are trustworthy, resilient and possess a high level of accuracy in your way of working. You like to work in a fast-pacing environment.
Profile
Qualifications & requirements
We're looking for someone who is structured and analytical. Experience in a similar position is not a must. The key is that you master advanced Excel and possess the logical thinking needed to utilize business system tools. You may have a bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Moreover, we expect you to have the
following qualifications:
- Advanced Excel skill
- Experience handling large volumes of catalog or master data
- Experience accurately interpreting and drawing conclusions from data
- Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution
- Fluency in English
- Strong team player, capable of engaging with different business areas
