Mission

We are looking for a skilled treasury professional to help establish and develop a hands-on Group Treasury function. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening liquidity management, optimizing cash flow, and enhancing financial control across the Group.

This is a unique opportunity to join a global organization and contribute directly to building and shaping the Group’s treasury framework, working closely with stakeholders across finance and the wider business. Our new Treasury Manager will build, own, and operate the Group Treasury function, transforming Wrist’s largely reactive and decentralized treasury setup into a centralized, professional, and forward-looking model. The role combines strategic responsibility with hands-on execution and will play a key role in strengthening liquidity management, improving cash flow visibility, and ensuring strong financial governance across the Group.

Reporting to our Group Finance Director, you will become part of our finance department in Nørresundby. In this position you will establish and operate a central Group Treasury function and develop the policies, procedures, and controls needed to support a modern treasury setup across areas such as liquidity management, banking, intercompany funding, FX, and guarantees.

A key part of the role will be implementing structured cash flow forecasting and actively managing liquidity across the Group. This includes:

  • Developing short-, medium-, and long-term cash flow forecasts
  • Consolidating entity-level forecasts and improving forecast accuracy
  • Managing Group liquidity, including cash pooling, funding of operating entities, and deployment of surplus cash
  • Supporting working capital optimization together with Group Finance and the business

You will also maintain and develop the Group’s banking relationships and help optimize the overall banking structure, including oversight of bank accounts, mandates, and e-banking access. The role includes supporting negotiations with banks and ensuring covenant monitoring and compliance with bond and loan documentation.

In addition, you will manage the Group’s intercompany financing framework, ensuring proper documentation, arm’s-length pricing in collaboration with Group Tax, and accurate interest calculations and settlements.

Finally, you will help establish visibility of FX and interest rate exposures, support the implementation of appropriate treasury tools, and deliver relevant treasury reporting to the Group CFO, Executive Management, and Board as required.

Profile

Qualifications & Requirements
Preferably, you hold a master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field, and have 5–10+ years of relevant experience from Group Treasury, Corporate Finance, or a related area.

Moreover, we expect you to bring the following qualifications and experience:

  • Solid experience with cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
  • Strong understanding of banking relationships and financing structures
  • Experience with intercompany loans and internal funding structures
  • Experience establishing or further professionalizing a treasury function in a decentralized, international group is a strong advantage

Personal profile
We expect you to bring a hands-on and pragmatic mindset combined with strong analytical capabilities. You are comfortable operating in a lean setup where you take ownership and drive initiatives forward, while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across the organization. In addition, you bring the following qualities:

  • Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently with a high level of accountability
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Commercially minded with a clear understanding of risk and financial governance

To succeed in the role, you will establish reliable, forward-looking visibility of the Group’s cash and liquidity, help reduce cash trapped outside pooling structures, and contribute to lowering overall financing and banking costs — ultimately driving measurable success for the Group’s treasury function.
