Do you want to help shape AI in everyday software development and business operations?

Mission

As AI Engineer, you will play a central role in building our capability to use AI agents across all Group Digital deliveries and business processes. This spans a broad landscape - from platform implementations and system integrations to software development, process automation, and operational tooling.

A concrete ambition is to fundamentally change how we approach our new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation: moving away from traditional ERP migration practices and towards agentic-supported design, configuration, and implementation.

You will work hands-on with agentic AI frameworks, large language models, and automation tooling - helping us turn AI from isolated experiments into embedded practice across Group Digital. The role reports to our Head of AI & Data Excellence.

You are curious, eager to learn, and ready to help shape how we use AI across Group Digital - with a mindful eye on risk and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy AI agent solutions across software delivery and business processes
  • Identify and prototype AI use cases with teams across Group Digital
  • Evaluate and introduce relevant AI tools, frameworks, and LLM integrations
  • Ensure responsible AI usage - with clear awareness of IT security, data privacy, and risk
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to scale AI-driven practices
  • Build agent workflows to support and validate data migration to our new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform
  • Embed AI agents across the software development life-cycle - from specification and coding to testing, documentation, and release
  • Design and implement an evaluation framework to measure whether deployed agents produce reliable, accurate output

Profile

Qualifications & requirements
We expect you to have a background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. More importantly, you have experience building production software and a genuine interest in applying AI to solve real-world challenges.

Furthermore, we expect that you have

  • Solid experience (typically 5+ years) building and shipping production software, and have delivered solutions that run in the real world
  • Proven hands-on experience building with LLMs and agentic systems, including tool calling, agent orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, MCP, Claude Code, Codex), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), context engineering, and evaluating whether agents produce reliable output
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python and/or other relevant programming languages
  • A genuinely curious mindset, open to new technology and eager to learn continuously
  • A strong awareness of IT security, responsible AI, and operational risk
  • A self-driven approach - you don't wait for a ticket in the backlog but proactively identify problems, build prototypes, and present solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive adoption of AI solutions across technical and business teams

We offer more than just a job

This is an opportunity to help shape how AI is adopted and scaled across a global business while working with modern technologies in a collaborative environment.

You will become part of a global digital organisation with strong ambitions to embed agentic AI into both our business processes and our software development life-cycle. You will not be starting from scratch - you will join an existing AI capability in Group Digital and work alongside experienced colleagues who are already building and deploying AI solutions across the organisation.

We wish to be the best at what we do, and everything we do is based on our values of Winning Attitude, Customer Orientation, and Getting it Done. We offer flexible working hours and numerous employee benefits, including a healthy canteen, takeaway meals, free fruit, and fitness facilities. Wrist supports local elite sports by offering tickets to home games. Ready to apply?
We are looking for curious, technically strong professionals who want to help shape the future use of AI at Wrist.

When applying, we encourage you to tell us - or show us -the most impressive AI solution you have built. This could be a side project, an internal solution, an open-source contribution, or another example that demonstrates your practical experience with LLMs or AI agents.

Please submit your application and CV via the "Apply" button.

We look forward to welcoming you to Group Digital.
