At Wrist Group our legal function continues to develop, we are therefore looking for an additional Legal Counsel to join our team.

While legal qualifications are important, success in the role depends equally on the ability to understand commercial objectives, assess legal and compliance risks in context, and provide practical recommendations that help the business move forward.
Our Group Legal team is responsible for all legal and compliance matters within the Group globally and engages with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders such as business partners, other Group Functions, local lawyers as well as local/regional management.
You will join a small collaborative Legal team of highly dedicated and competent colleagues, although we operate in an ambitious and fast-moving environment, we prioritize an informal and supportive culture where we value humor, collaboration and a positive working atmosphere. Personality and team-fit is therefore a priority for this position, and we are looking for a candidate who is co-operative, eager to learn, trustworthy, resilient, and possesses a high level of good mood.
The position as Group Legal Counsel is based in the Headquarter in Nørresundby, where you will bring legal and compliance advice to the entire group with entities located all over the world.
With reference to our Head of
Legal, you will become an important part of our strong team.
Key responsibilities:
In this role, you will be exposed to a wide variety of legal and compliance matters across the Group’s global operations. While no one is expected to be an expert in every legal discipline or jurisdiction, the role requires curiosity and willingness to learn, a general ability to take ownership of issues, identify the relevant legal considerations and drive commercially pragmatic solutions.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will be to
· Participate in all legal and compliance tasks globally
· Draft, review and negotiate contracts in all areas, e.g. purchase and sales contracts, IT Contracts
· Perform compliance tasks, hereunder monitor and raise awareness about sanctions, anti-bribery, GDPR and competition law group wide.
· Provide professional, pragmatic and commercially minded advice to colleagues at all levels
· Build professional relationships globally within Wrist to ensure approachability in the Group Legal department
Profil
Qualifications & requirements
We
expect that you hold a cand.merc.jur., cand.jur., or an equivalent relevant
foreign degree. In addition, you are collaborative, flexible, reliable, and
have a professional approach to your work.
Furthermore, we expect that you have:
- Positive and efficient personality preferably structured and good at establishing processes
- Proficient in English verbally as well as written
- Interest for compliance/governance, experience with this area is an advantage
- Interest for commercial considerations and challenges
- Good mood and a pragmatic approach to find solutions together with commercial colleagues
