Mission

Do you have well-rounded AX 2012 experience, and are you looking for a role where you can dedicate time to ensuring application excellence?

“You will get to immerse yourself in one company and concentrate on delivering high-quality solutions while having the freedom to shape how you work.” - Martin Krusell Nielsen, AX 2012 Solution Architect & Team Lead.

Join our ERP Services department in Nørresundby

Wrist is the world’s leading ship and offshore supplier within provisions, stores, and spare part logistics, and our IT organization plays a central role in supporting our business with innovative digital solutions.

You will join the team responsible for all technical maintenance and optimization of AX 2012, which is used globally by all departments. While our core team consists of four colleagues, we collaborate closely with a larger IT development group, including a team based in Manila.

Shape business processes and system performance

As an ERP Application Specialist focusing on AX 2012, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business process improvements. Additionally, you will provide 3rd-level support for our AX 2012 environment, including responding to user inquiries and resolving technical issues.

You will also:

  • Configure and customize AX 2012 to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain X++ code, reports, and integrations
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes as needed
  • Create and maintain system documentation
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations
  • Assist with data migration and integration projects

You may already be aware that we are about to implement a new ERP system, which will affect all business units across Europe, the US, Central America, and Asia.

That said, we remain committed to ensuring that our current system is well-maintained and performs effectively. Our team will continue to focus on operational stability and continually refine the system to support a smooth transition.

Profile

Whether you have a background as a developer or a consultant, we invite you to use your broad experience and deep technical understanding to ensure quality solutions.

You can think critically about system design and implementation. Valuing excellence over speed, you know when to spend a little extra time on something if it means finding the right solution. You will also need strong English communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.

Additionally, you bring:

  • Strong knowledge of AX 2012 modules, including Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Inventory
  • Proficiency in X++ programming and the MorphX development environment
  • Deep insight into AX 2012 architecture, data structures, and customization techniques
  • Knowledge of AX 2012 reporting tools (such as Lasernet and SSRS)
  • A good understanding of integration technologies (such as AIF and ReadSoft)

Finally, experience with a range of implementation projects will be considered an advantage, as will experience with SQL Server and database management.
