Now, we’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager who thrives in the dynamic pace of the maritime industry and is energized by building trusted, long‑term customer partnerships.

Based in Denmark and working closely with our Nordic customer base, you will be the steady compass guiding our accounts towards strong collaboration and engagement.

Location: Nørresundby or Copenhagen, Denmark
Reports to: Commercial Director
Travel expected: 60 days annually

Profile

Your key responsibilities

As our Key Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for your assigned customers, representing Garrets with professionalism and a deep understanding of the maritime industry. Your role will focus on building strong, long‑term relationships, identifying growth opportunities, safeguarding profitability, and ensuring seamless service delivery across the fleet.

In your day‑to‑day you’ll bring teams together to solve challenges quickly, communicate what matters, and keep customers confident in the partnership. What you bring to Garrets

  • A strong ambassador mindset with a proactive relationship building approach and a passion for commercial growth
  • A proven track record as a Key Account Manager - including building, maintaining, and growing strong customer relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying opportunities and closing deals that increase revenue and profitability
  • 10+ years of experience in similar customer‑facing, commercial roles - ideally supported by a network within the maritime industry
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Advantageous experience within shipping, supply chain, or logistics
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); fluency or understanding of the Norwegian language is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Maritime English, Incoterms, and the fundamentals of the shipping industry
